I loved this app since it appeared years ago, I still use it to look for similar artist to discover. Great app, it is time for it to get a facelift or some new features on an update. Recommended

User friendly, beautiful interface, and chalk full of great music that you havent heard yet! Endless amounts of fun and possibility. Best music app in the history of Apple!!

I bought this up because of a recommendation from an iBook on the DJ to app. That author felt that this was a fantastic app to start digging in and learning about new artists. If you are brand new to a genre, then this will absolutely start you off in the right direction. It is also very easy to use, and the functionality whereby you can listen to snippets from the artists works great. That said, if you are a music lover and you already know several genres pretty well, this app probably wont tell you anything you dont already know. Its recommendations are pretty similar to music that you would see coming up in a Pandora station. If I could improve the app, especially if it is a "pay for" app, I would work harder to try to recommend brand new artists that relate to any of the artists punched into the search box. Also, it doesnt appear that the recommendations get updated, so I generally only use the app if I become interested in a brand new genre of music. I definitely look forward to what this app may have in store in the future.

If you love music and are always on the hunt for more then this is the best app to buy. I have had it for months and I love using it. The interface is great and easy to use. Hasnt crashed yet! Also this has become one of my top resources for finding new music. This gives you detailed info on each band from songs, videos, reviews and more. I generally dont review apps but this one is more than well deserving. Well done!

This is a great app to discover artists that are similar to one you like listening to. I also think the interface is also fun to use

App when searching any artist shows no results and says try again later. Might be broken? But as of now it does not work.

Every time I try to use the app I receive an error message saying"Could not complete the request. Please try again later." Incredibly frustrating. Complete waste of a dollar.

After updating the app., which I used to love, it stopped working, only giving me the artist typed and similar artists. After that nothing except for a tip in a red box saying "Single tap to see related artists". Nothing happens after that except for a long tap which gives options to listen to this or similar artists. No bio, no expansion. No good.

Love using it to find similar artists. It needs an update since I no longer get images in the screen, they are only blue place holders but its not a show stopper.

Beautiful interface and design creates a front end to a wealth of useful information. It takes a very specific portion of the web (music) and makes it much easier to use and a lot of fun. You can easily get lost in this app if you enjoy music.

Love this app!! Great for discovering new music (especially more underground tunes...where real creativity is happening). I dont do mainstream music - soulless, mass-produced crap - and Discovr helps you find little-known cool bands without the big-music publicity engine behind them. Lets all support the artist! Use Discovr!!

Last two updates solved big issues and this update continues the trend.

They should make discovr movie, and book app as well! Or one that combines the three!

Revised: All is well now Before latest update, My app stopped working except for long tap, no single or double tap, no expansion to similar artist - iPhone 6S.

This app opens u up to new music. Easy to use, no congestion.

The app is remarkably good, but somewhere along the line the feature to see more similar artists by single tapping a band a second or third time has been removed. That was one of the features that allowed me to find so many more interesting bands and makes me want to return to lastfm for the greater spread of similar.
